Insert the gasket ring
• Place the gasket ring on the intended recess at the bottom of the lid and push it over the bracket so
that each half of the gasket is sitting above resp. below the bracket.
• Pay attention to the correct fit of the gasket ring!
Attaching and closing the lid
Attach the lid to the base unit.
• Place the lid at an angle on the base unit.
• The display alternately shows the information "AUF"(open) resp.
"ZU“(closed) and a signal tone sounds.
Close the lid
• Turn the lid clockwise until the stop.
• A signal tone sounds and the information “AUF“(open) resp. “ZU“(closed) in
the display turns off.
Using the button for the steam outlet valve
Working with steam pressure:
• The button is not pushed, the valve cap does not close the valve outlet of
the steam outlet valve, the pressure cannot escape.
Working without steam pressure:
• The button is pushed, the valve cap is elevated and thus closes the valve
outlet of the steam outlet valve. The steam which is produced inside the
cooking pot can escape unhindered.
