– Check the unit for damages; do not use it in case of dam-
ages.
– Before plugging the trimmer in for battery charging, make
sure that voltage of the mains corresponds to the unit oper-
ating voltage.
– Charge the battery and lubricate the blade block following
the recommendations below.
The hair trimmer can operate both connected to the mains
and on the built-in rechargeable battery.
Battery charging
– Switch the trimmer off by setting the power switch (4) to the
position «0» (pic. 1).
– Insert the power cord connector into the socket (6) (pic. 2).
– Place the trimmer on a flat stable surface.
– Plug the power cord (8) plug into the mains socket, the
charging indicator (5) will light up red.
– The full charging time for the accumulator battery is 8 hours;
do not exceed it to avoid reducing the battery operating life.
– Full charging of the accumulator battery is enough approxi-
mately for 35 minutes of continuous operation.
– After the battery is charged, disconnect the power cord (8)
plug from the mains and remove the connector from the
connection socket (6), the charging indicator (5) will go out.
ATTENTION:
– To prolong the battery operating life, it should be dis-
charged completely before each charging cycle.
– Do not charge the battery at temperature below +5°C and
above +35°C.
– If you haven’t used the unit for a month or longer, charge the
battery completely before using the trimmer.
– Never leave the unit connected to the mains unattended.
Using the power cord
If you want to continue using the trimmer at the partially dis-
charged battery, connect the power cord (8) plug to the trim-
mer socket (6), connect the power cord (8) plug into the mains
socket, switch the trimmer on by setting the power switch (4)
to the position «I».
LUBRICATING THE BLADE BLOCK
Before using the unit for the first time remove the blade block
and lubricate it with oil (7) (supplied with the unit).
– Remove the universal attachment (1); to do this set the con-
trol knob (3) to the position «10» and pull the attachment (1)
upwards with slight effort (pic. 3, 4).
– To remove the blade block place the trimmer with the blades
up and press on the upper edge of the blade block with your
thumb (pic. 5).
