“Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd.”, holding company of the 

Samsung Electronics group, manufacturing the Samsung 

products (further named as «Manufacturer»), having its address 

at: 129, Samsung-ro, Yeongtong-gu, Suwon-si, Gyeonggi-do, 

Republic of Korea registered 13.01.1969 by the East Register 

Office of the district court of Suwon city (registration number 

№ 000905), greatly appreciates your choice. We have applied 

best efforts so that this product would satisfy your needs and its 

quality would comply with the world’s best standards.

Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. sets forth subject to 

compliance with the instructions for use for its products term 

of service life: home appliances – 7 years, TV sets, monitors, 

kitchen hoods, audio-, video-products – 5 years, GSM phones, 

modems, projectors – 3 years, Bluetooth hands-free – 1 year. 

Term of service life is measured from the date of manufacture, 

unless User’s Manual sets forth other limits.

After expiration of product service life Manufacturer 

recommends to apply to a Samsung Authorized Service Center 

(ASC) to perform maintenance works and get advice on product 

safe operation.

You can get Samsung Authorized Service Center (ASC) 

addresses and telephone numbers from the Unified Customer 

Support Service or from www.samsung.com. Please refer 

to applicable country (hereinafter Country) section to find 

Unified Customer Support Service phone number. We strongly 

recommend addressing ASCs should you have any problems 

with the operability and use of your device.

All the products are specially designated by Samsung 

Electronics Co., Ltd. for supply to Country and have been 

designed with regard to the particular service environment 

typical of this country. To make sure, please check the device 

and its packing for the official compliance marks.

In order to avoid misunderstanding we urge you to read 

carefully the User’s Manual, terms of warranty, to check 

whether the warranty card is filled out correctly. Warranty card is 

valid if following entries are made correctly and clearly: model, 

serial number of the device, date of sale, readable seals of the 

seller and the customer’s signature. Device model and serial 

number shall match those specified in the warranty card.

Should these conditions be violated or should the 

warranty card details be altered, erased or rewritten, the 

warranty card is recognized void.

Should this be the case, we recommend addressing your 

retailer in order to have new warranty card issued in compliance 

with the requirements above or providing sales receipts or 

slips confirming the fact and date of sale. If date of sale cannot 

be established, as per the consumer protection laws of the 

country of purchase warranty term is measured from the date of 

manufacture.

With this warranty card Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. 

confirms acceptance of obligations to satisfy the customer’s 

requirements set forth by the effective consumer protection 

laws, should any defects be identified in the product due to the 

Manufacturer’s fault. Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. reserves 

the right to reject claims by its customers and to deny free 

service should the terms below be violated. Warranty and free 

service obligations of the Manufacturer are executed according 

to the legislation of the Country, where warranty and/or free 

service provided.

Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. sets forth for its 

products warranty period, measured from the date of sale, 

and period of free service, measured after warranty period 

expiry, enlisted in the table on the page 3. In this case, the 

warranty period and the free service period are limited by 

the product life.

Terms of Warranty and Free Service:

1.

 The Manufacturer’s warranty and free service obligations 

cover exclusively models designated by Samsung Electronics 

Co., Ltd. for export and sales within territory of the Russian 

Federation, purchased in Russian Federation and certified for 

compliance with the state standards of Russian Federation.

 Free service is extra obligation by the Manufacturer to 

eliminate defects of product due to the Manufacturer’s fault 

free of charge for the purchaser (consumer). Free service for air 

conditioners is provided if the air conditioners was installed by a 

Samsung authorized installation organization.

3.

 Replacement of faulty parts (units, assemblies) of the 

product within the warranty or free service term results neither 

in new warranty term being established, nor in new free service 

term for the whole product or replaced parts. The Manufacturer 

is continuously improving usability of the product software and 

provides opportunities for the software update by consumers 

for a number of products, using programs/applications 

available to the user at the company´s official website, as well 

as automatic software update subject to user’s consent. The 

Manufacturer is not responsible for saving of the product 

software version installed at the time of purchase or modified 

during the life without assistant on the part of the Manufacturer. 

The Manufacturer always recommends using a current version 

of the product software.

4.

 Warranty period for accessories, which belong to the 

product’s delivery package, is the same as for the main product, 

except the following:

a)

 batteries, lamps for projectors, illumination lamps, except 

the products where the procedure of illumination lamps 

replacing is described in user’s manual;

b)

 connection cables (if they are not part of the charger), 

headphones, various data storage devices (disks with 

software and drivers, memory cards);

c)

 cases, bags, belts, strings for carrying, installation devices, 

tools, documents accompanying the product;

d)

 software and drivers supplied with the product on various 

data storage devices (including, but not limited to, software 

factory installed on the product’s hard disks) as well as 

software re-installation and setup excluding situations when 

the need to re-install or setup results from the product’s 

defect due to the Manufacturer’s fault.

Additionally for:

e)

 refrigerators: odour absorbers, air purifiers 

(biodesodorators), filters, shelves, boxes, fixtures and food 

containers;

f)

 microwave ovens: warming drawer and cooking units: on 

plates, broiling rack, grilles, dishes, roasting pans, covers, 

rakes, plate racks, cootop tops and splitters;

g)

 vacuum cleaners: hoses, pipes, brushes, heads, dust 

collecting bags, filters;

h)

 washing machines: filters, hoses for water supply;

i)

 conditioners and hoods: filters;

j)

 printers: in case of ending of the original toner (ink, photo 

printer ribbon cartridge) in the cartridge (the cartridge is 

monitored by weight, and (or) by indicators of installed chip).

5.

 The Manufacturer has no warranty obligations and offers no 

free service in the following cases:

a)

 if the product designated for personal (household, family) 

use has been used for business purposes as well as other 

purposes beyond its intended use;

b)

 if the provisions on operation and installation set forth in 

the User’s Manual and other documents accompanying the 

product have been violated;

c)

 if the product has indications of attempted unauthorized 

repairs;

d)

 if the defect is due to alteration of the product’s design or 

layout, connection of external devices unauthorized by the 

Manufacturer;

e)

 if the defect is due to an event of force-majeure, accidents, 

intended or reckless acts by the consumer or third parties;

f)

 if damage is identified due to action of mechanical stress, 

moisture, high or low temperature, corrosion, oxidation, 

penetration of foreign objects, substances, liquids, insects or 

animals;

g)

 if cleaning of audio-video heads, drives for reading various 

data storage media is required;

h)

 if the damage is due to computer viruses and similar 

programs, setting or changing password, modification and 

(or) re-installation of factory installed software, installation 

and use of software by third parties, formatting data media on 

hard disks;

i)

 if the defect is due to natural wear during operation of the 

product. Natural wear is considered as consequences of 

product usage, resulting in worsening of technical state or 

appearance due to enduring usage;

j)

 if the defect is due to insufficient capacity of
