Keep the appliance out of reach of children.

This appliance is not intended for use by individuals

who suffer from some types of illnesses, such as
epilepsy.
Never operate the hair straightener if the power

cord or plug are damaged, in the event of operating
malfunction, if it has sustained a fall or is damaged, or
it has been submersed in water.
Check the cord regularly. The insulation cannot be

damaged or broken.
The hair straightener becomes hot when in use. Do
●
not place the hair straightener near any flammable
materials due to risk of fire.
Avoid contact with eyes and skin. Risk of burns.

Risks exist even if the hair straightener is switched off.
●
Always unplug the appliance from the electrical outlet
immediately after using and before cleaning.
When the hair straightener is used in a bathroom,

remove the plug from the power socket since the
proximity of water presents a danger even if the hair
straightener is switched off.

near bathtubs, showers, basins or other
vessels containing water.

Do not use it for synthetic or animal hair. Do not use
the heating elements to dry any other objects.
Do not immerse the hair straightener, power cord

unattended so it could be immersed in water while still
switched on.
Do not place or store the appliance in a place where it

can fall into water or be splashed with it.
Never try to remove lint or foreign bodies from the

inside of the hair straightener using sharp objects
(e.g. a comb).
Never place the hair straightener on a soft surface such

as a bed or couch or on other flammable materials.
Store free of hair, etc.
The appliance is not intended to be operated by

means of an external timer or separate remote-control
system.
Do not use extension leads with this appliance.

Keep the power supply cord away from hot surfaces
●
and route it carefully to avoid any risks.

Do not place the hair straightener on wet surfaces or

clothing while it is operating.
Do not use while bathing.

Do not use the appliance on wet hair. Always dry your

hair with a towel, not to leave excessive water.
In event of operating malfunction during use, remove

the plug from the power socket and arrange for the
appliance to be sent for repair.
Never use outdoors or operate where aerosol (spray)
●
products are being used or where oxygen is being
administered.
Hair sprays contain flammable materials.
●
Do not clean the appliance with benzene, spirits or
●
aggressive cleaning agents. Risk of fire.
If the non-detachable part of the cord is damaged,
●
it should be replaced by the producer or at a proper
service point or by a qualified person in order to
avoid any hazards.
The appliance can be repaired by qualified staff only.
●
Incorrectly performed repair may cause serious hazard
to the user. In case of any defects, it is advised to
return the appliance to an authorised service facility.
If the appliance falls into water, unplug it immediately.

Do not reach into the water while the unit is plugged
in. Do not use a hair straightener that has fallen into
water.
This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years
●
and over as well as persons with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience
and knowledge only if they are properly supervised
or have been given instruction on the safe use of
the appliance and understand the hazards involved.
Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and
user maintenance shall not be made by children unless
aged 8 years and above and properly supervised.
