• Turn the cover a short distance in a clockwise direction.
• The lid is now locked in place.
Setting the Degree of Grinding
• Turn the wheel on the underside of the mill in an anticlockwise direction if you want to
grind the peppercorns/salt grains more coarsely.
• Turn the wheel on the underside of the mill in a clockwise direction if you wish to grind
the peppercorns/salt grains more fi nely.
Operation
Press the switch to grind the peppercorns. The lamp lights up.
When the device is not in use
If the mill is not going to be used for a considerable time, please remove the batteries in
order to prevent battery acid from leaking out.
Cleaning
• Only use a slightly damp cloth to clean the outside of the unit.
• Do not use abrasive or aggressive cleaners.
