N.B.:
the drawing refers to the the controls and connectors on the metal back panel.
1. Jack-XLR OUTPUT LEFT/RIGHT:
These are Jacks and XLR balanced outputs in order
to send the signal of the INPUTS (also if passing through the cross-over).
2. OUTPUT XOVER-FLAT switch:
switch on or off for the cross-over filter on the output
signals of the Outputs. In the Off position the signals with frequencies lower than 150
Hz will be filtered only when eventual other loudspeaker connected to
Sub VS10
will not support these frequencies. In the On position will be sent out non-filtered
signals.
3. LEVEL trimmer:
trimmer for regulating the level of the signal reaching the power
amplifier, to allow it to be adapted to the level of the sound source connected.
4. PHASE 0° - 180° switch:
through this switch you can invert the phase of the signal on
woofer.
5. Jack-XLR INPUT connectors:
Jack-XLR input connectors for connection of the signal
to be amplified.
6. L/MONO - STEREO switch:
in order to send a mono signal to the
Sub VS10
you
have to push this switch using in this way only the Jacks and/or XLR INPUT LEFT
and disconnecting the INPUT RIGHT connectors. Release this switch if the input
signal is stereo so that you may utilize both input sections.
N.B.:
if you utilize a mono signal connected only to the INPUT LEFT connectors
without having selected the right configuration through the above mentioned switch,
the amplifications of the signal will be cutted by half.
7. GND LIFT switch:
switch which allows the amplifier ground to be disconnected from
the chassis. However, the speaker ground connection remains unchanged. This is
useful in situations where ground loops occur, causing hissing if more than one device
is connected to the same power supply socket.
